Camp Flog Gnaw, Tyler, The Creator’s annual music festival/carnival, was once again the spot to hear the best hip-hop from a diverse roster of artists in LA’s Exposition Park.
One of the most celebrated sets of this year’s festival came from elusive Cleveland rapper Kid Cudi, who bought down the house by performing a slew of his hits, including the Travis Scott collaboration “Baptized in Fire,” and “REVOFEV.”
The festival also featured a diverse line up of vocalists, including Lana Del Rey, Kelis, Khelani, Solange. Among the rappers offering memorable performances include Migos, Mac Miller, 2Chainz and rapper/singer 6lack. Atlanta-born rapper Playboi Carti also hit the stage, performing several of his songs, including the hit “Magnolia.”
Now in its sixth year, Tyler, The Creator’s annual music festival/carnival attracted tens of thousands of young people for two days of music performances, carnival attractions and all-out fun. Tyler’s Odd Future crew also hit the stage, including Earl Sweatshirt, Hodgy, Left Brain, Domo Genesis, Mike G and Taco.
There were also slew of surprise guest appearances at this year’s Camp Flog Gnaw, including Ty Dolla $ign and YG, who was brought out by Taco from Odd Future.
A$AP Rocky also performed many of his most popular songs and premiering a new, unnamed song. A$AP Rocky also bought out for guest appearances Lil Yachty, and G-Eazy, who both joined him in performing G-Eazy’s “No Limit.”
Started in 2012, Camp Flog Gnaw was started as a way to put his Odd Future brand of hip-hop on full display, while at the same time marking the close of the group’s touring season.
